Default Bushing ?

I bought a b-series shift linkage from hasport. My question is should my shift linkage came with the bushing that goes on the end of the bar, or do I have to buy one.

If I have to buy one what am I asking for because I'm not sure what it's called.

TIA

Mine didnt come with one,
Stabilizer bar bushing? - Not sure on the name

I used a bushing from a 99-00 si. Im sure the del sol one would fit too.

Thanks I'll check into it. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting the shaft when I got my linkage.

Not sure how you got away with using it from that car. You need one from an older integra, the civics and integras are setup differently. Your also gonna need the little plate that slips over the bushing.

Notice how the shifter bushing bolts up to the trans

How the crx and 00 si and pretty much all civics bolt up to the trans

Plus #16 in the first pic is a lot bigger then the one for the crx.

The size might be the same, I can't recall off hand, I really think the integra one is a tad bigger. But anyways the design is different.

Look at #16 in the first pic, see how the surface goes in, this is for piece 17 to sit into.

Look at #14 in the second pic, see how its flat, thats ment to sit flush in the bracket which is number #15

How about a side by side comparison of the actual parts:

See a difference now?

The DA+ Integra, Del Sol VTEC, & 99-00 Civic Si use the same bushing. The bushings are different for SERIES of motors, not cars. B-series = b-series. B-series bolts to the side of teh tranny. D-series sits in between a bracket on the tranny.
