crank pully tight?
h23a1 engine i had a stock crank pully with a hex shape in it for a holder tool. my new aftermaket pully does not have that shape in it for the tool, how do i get the pully tight again? since i gota tighten it to such a heavy ft pd????
there should be a access cover(rubber piece) on the trans take that off and you'll see the flywheel and just jam a screwdriver in there and tighten the **** to specs thats what i did still seems fine
That's not a good idea as you can break teeth off the flywheel....
If I were you i'd take it to a shop and have them tighten it with an impact gun...They have special extensions that are rated at a given torque....

i have a high tq. impact gun and a 150 lb tq. stick (the extion you refer to). i need to know the best way to get the bolt tight. the screw driver deal sounds risky but its the best thing i could think of too.
