bought s200b, have uberdata socketed p72, what do i do? haha
Im going with s200b w/ datalogging becuase i got it for a great price. I have an uberdata socketed p72 with a GSR 10 psi base map.
I have a p06 all stock. Should i just send the p06 out to hondata for socketing and sell the p72 (since i heard hondata has some wierd glitch with p72s) or what do i have to do if i SHOULD (not want) to use the p72? Also, i can have hondata send me a chip with a basemap loaded on it, or how does that work?
Thanks to those that help.

Use the socketed P72. It's already VTEC, IAB, and KS-capable. Converting a P06 to a P28 with IAB is probably something that Hondata doesn't do. You'll have to find somebody like 93turbo16 or Dave (blundar) to help you with the P06-P28 conversion.
You probably have to add the CN2 terminal that's used to interface with the S200 blue box. It's the white terminal with 4 pins that might have been included with the S200. It might not be there b/c the previous owner could have used it.
Hondata probably doesn't like to do the starup maps themselves. They'll probably refer you to a dealer. If you have a chip burner, I can send you a Hondata bin as a startup map. If not, then you'll have to find somebody local to you with a chip burner.
