RSX is hydrolocking itself with fuel! (injectors are staying open) any ideas?
Setup is a rsx-s with k20a2 with 550 cc injectors, and 7lbs of boost via jackson supercharger, and ecu is hondata k-pro.
Heres the problem, car was being driven at normally, when the motor shut down. The car was then towed to acura, (free tow) and then, it was found that the motor was hydrolocked from Fuel. The injectors were tested by RC, and have checked out just fine.
Also, now that its back at home, i pulled the plugs, and the injectors, etc, and turned over the motor with the starter, and its smooth, seems to check out ok. Then i changed the oil, because it smelled like fuel, and there was no metal or any bad signs there either. SOOOO.. what is holding 2 injectors open (what acura tech said)?
How does it work, does the injectors open when the ecu grounds them?? if so would some kind of ground be holding them open. Theres something i am overlooking.

any aftermarket wiring? resistor box? you'll have to trace the wiring back step by step from the injectors. get your hands on an RSX ETM(Electrical Troubleshooting Manual) and go from there.
no resistor box wiring or anything. All i did was splice in the injectors. The setup ran fine for months like this. Has several thousand miles on it. Then 1 day it just locked up with fuel.
is there a fuel return line ...i know the newer motors dont have them and if a wire is bad it may bleed off all the pressure into the injector instead of the return line ...
just a shot

I was hoping that would work but it didnt.

yeah its kinda weird, this setup ran fine for a months, and it has a 3 or 4,000 miles on it, and it ran fine from day one. Then all of a sudden it locked up from fuel one day.
I need to know whether the ecu grounds the injectors to open them, or grounds the injectors to close them. Then im going to check those wires with a voltmeter i suppose.
Never really messed with electrical systems before so this is hit and miss.
