Need help,wastegate doesnt sit flush with the mani.

Default Need help,wastegate doesnt sit flush with the mani.

OK I plan on installing tomorrow but have one quick question. I test fitted the wastegate on the manifold and it doesnt sit flush. The wasgate kinda pokes out at the bottom. See attached pics. Do I just need a gasket? Other alternatives

take something and gently tap the fire ring down flush... itll go

it will seat fine once you tighten the bolts down

isn't it supposed to actually sit a little higher than the mating surface? i know mine did until i put alotta pressure on it (aka, tightened bolts)

i had same experince and yes jsut bolting it down will git r done, and also gimme ur manifold
