oil pressure gauge question

Default oil pressure gauge question

alright well i got this oil pressure hooked up and working right and ofc i used the t fitting and used my stock sender as well. but how come my dummy light didnt light up? do i have to ground it to a certian palce for it ?

Did you put the big sending unit on the block, if so to you. I have seen blocks crack from that. Anyways you might need to ground it, depending on how you hooked it up, if you used teflon tape and so on.

no i didnt put the sender on the block, no way man i like my motor and dont want it to crack so i t it off on the firewall

so just need to know how to ground it off.

Good call , yep your gonna have to either ground the sending unit or ground the t fitting.

the t fitting is brass, how will it work? i mean how can i hook it up on the t fittin or where on the sender

You can solder it, or use a worm type hose clamp.

Just attach a ground wire to the T-fitting (either soldered or hoseclamped like said above) and then attach that to the firewall or some other grounding point.
