Default Downshift Blip with SS. How?

Many have said that to preserve their SS tranny, they blip the throttle when downshifting. I am confused because I don't see when this can happen in the process. The gears shift almost INSTANTLY, leaving no ample time for the engine to rev.

I feel like a complete idiot already for asking (seeing how a number of ppl drive like this daily), so please explain clearly.

Can you give me an scenario with RPM, MPH, Gear specs?

Thanks in advance

what the heck is blip???? when u downshifht a ss, keep ur foot on the gas...that will give u a smoother shift..
peace
what the hell are u talking about.

what your want to know is called rev matching, u blip the throttle to match
the RPM that the motor spins up to, when u downshift.

I don't think you can do that with an SS, i know and have tried. My brother has an SS.
