Default Walbro pump???

If you put a Walbro fuel pump in a almost stock car will it affect gas mileage??? I need a new fuel pump and I plan on doing some upgrades really soon so I don't want to put a stock one back in it.
Thanks

If you don't already have a gage and pressure regulator install them before the pump. I have a walbro 255 and i haven't noticed any differences in fuel consumption.

your stock fpr should keep @ stock psi, but others on here say they get an increase in psi when they actually put a gauge on it
