To run OBD-O on that OBD-I GSR engine, you need to find an OBD-O B16A distributor (LS can be modified to fit), add wires for VTEC and the knock sensor, and run a PW0 or PR3 ECU. OR, you can run OBD-I easily by using an OBD-I Computer (either the B17 one or the Del Sol VTEC one) and splicing your stock CRX harness distributor plugs into the B17's distributor (they won't match up otherwise).

Get a conversion harness from rywire.com. It will save you a lot of the hassle of wiring up your car.

Plus, you can run it obd-1 like it was meant.

Run it exactly like you would with a B16A in your 90 CRX! OBD0 is good but if you already have the OBD1 distributor, get jumper harness! What ECU do you have?

Stay with the obd1 the B17 is set for already. You would be downgrading by going back to OBD0, plus all the hassel of getting a new distributor, ecu and messing around with harness.
