Default reading a hondata eprom

i know with a chip burner you can write to a chip, but my question is can you read a chip with this.. because i have a verry good base map and i want to go tune my s200 will the shop have to start over now??? or can they just read it off my chip and go from there?

I use the chip burner to load the buffer with the program from the chip and then save as whatever filename I want with a .bin file extension. Then you can open it in whatever program you want.

so i can get... on my comp, my prog im running now in my car and tune that from just my chip? even i its no where on my comp

You can load the program that's on the chip, modify it and burn it back onto a chip and back into your ecu... if that's what your asking.
