Default aftermarket exhuast

im plannin to buy an aftermarket exhaust. but my uncle says that oem will be a better choice. which do you guys reccomend?

Get a pipe kit from kteller or go with Greddy EVO or Apexi NI, there are like 10 different brands to choose from based on your taste in sound and looks. If you have money to throw around go with mugen. From my readings exhaust can add around 5-6 whp so of course its better than stock.

But from your signature it seems as though your 'dream' setup only includes a muffler, which adds 0 power. You need the entire exhaust system(cat back).

is the stainless steel piping the piping that everyone gets? i saw it for 215 for the ludes..and 225 for the three inch piping

you dont need 3 inch piping unless your going turbo. NA cars dont need anymore than 2.5.

i never knew that a muffler adds no hp ill go with the greddy evo

I just bought a 2.5" Megan Racing exhaust off of ebay for $300. Sounds pretty good IMO and fitment was almost perfect. Just that the muffler sticks out a bit farther than I thought.

I'm guessing you didn't know that that AEM fuel rail is pointless too?

my uncle is more of a domestic guy, so ...................

he used to have a 71 mustang 490 hp somethin somethin somethin
till he got into a crash when he stopped and this guy rear-ended him
