Hi all,

I have a 94 Honda Prelude with a H22a JDM swap. I just got the car. Upon starting, the idle surges up and down until it warms up then idles perfect.

I don't drive it until it warms up, but when it is warm, sometimes I step on the gas and it boggs. If I let off and gas it a few times sometimes it is fine and sometimes it stays bogged. If it doesn't bog, it runs great.

I looked on my other Lude with the same swap for any wiring or vacuum problems but can't find anything different.

Any guesses?........Thanks.......Dave

 

Get a Vafc and tune the rpm point where it boggs most....i just did that with my lude and now it drives almost perfect....turns out i had the wrong fuel injectors....from the h23 .....i have to buy some

just making it clear projectlude93 is NOT the scammer... heh, sorry about that.

It's SIRLudeVtec, which i might add still havent gotten cash back.

 

I'll say is your egr sticking open and/or close might cause to do that. Other thing it could be a fue injection problem and possibly something with the computer on how is reading and sending fuel.
