Default turbo integra owners.......

quick question for the integra owners with a semi-large intercooler. (i got a JRC 8")

did you guys have to modify the bumper support to raise the intercooler up a bit so it doesnt hang below the lower rad support?

and how do you guys run the charge pipe from the drivers side without removing the windsheild washer bottle? there's no room to fit a 2.5" pipe anywhere....where the hell does the charge pipe go?

I cut the bumper support into the shape of the intercooler so it looks like it fits into the bumper support

looks good........but how/what did you have to do to the metal bumper support to make that thing fit?

and what are you guys doing about the piping on the drivers side. there is a great big opening on the passengers side to run the piping no problem but on the drivers side there is the windsheild washer fluid resivoir in the way.........so what size pipe are you useing and where do you route it from/to?

me too, I cut out the inner part of the bumper support so the IC slids in kinda without touching anything.

I am usnig the Greddy Type 24v IC, its pretty big.

about the charge piping, it should fit fine without any problems, my piping doesnt really get in the way of the winshield resoir.

best pics I can find to help you get an idea.

see the 1st pic, cut the inner part of the bumper support out, that way you can reuse it, its still solid and will help a bit, I didnt like the idea of someone sitting on my bumper by accident and it bending inwards because nothing was supporting it.

BTW, the piping is greddy except the intake and upper charge pipe. 2.5"

alright but where do you route the piping? did you have to remove that tie down/tow hook on the drivers side. i cant find any opening to pass and size pipe in there?

i just dont see how it can be done without it hanging lower than the bumper which is what i dont want.........

any one have and closer pics of the drivers side pipe routing??

I has a resonator in the side, a long time ago, and this was just a U bend that also went 90deg up that came with the greddy IC piping kit, I never had an issue with it fitting, it just goes around, I will try to find pics.

the only thing i did was cut some underbody plastic, and it doesnt not sit lower than the bumper.

I'll try and take some pics later tonight when I get home from work........
