Default Best way to wire for best results?

I have two rockford P210S4s in a bandpass box and a rockford P5002 i believe powering them. The two subs are have 1 voice coil and are 4 ohms each. I want to bridge the two so i can run the amp bridged. The specs on the amp is
Max power watts per channel: 1800W @ 2 ohms
600W RMS (continuous) x 1 @ 4 ohms, bridged
300W RMS (continuous) x 2 @ 2 ohms
150W RMS (continuous) x 2 @ 4 ohms...right now running at this. I want to run it at full potential...how would i go about wiring the subwoofers up to the amp?

The problem is that amp is only stable to 4OHM mono...if you parallel the subs (meaning + to + and - to - you will find your total load is 2OHMs. This is NOT GOOD for the amp lol. I would power them in stereo, and maybe manipulate the punch remote for adjustment. It's a damn good amp, and damn nice subs, you are just stuck with your application as far as getting total power out of the amp.

I'd say yes sir. If you don't, and you try to run that amp into 2ohm mono, you will blow the amp. The voltage rails can't handle that (well not for long anyway). Your choice of subs/enclosure is what got you...had you gotten two 8ohm subs what you want to do would work for you.

The P210S8's would have been optimal...honestly, I would get out of a bandpass box and make my way into a slot vented box. Nothing crazy, but for your money, a slot vented box has the most output.

If I were to recommend something else...eh maybe a P310D4 but a huge difference in money is involved along with some difference power handling needs.

see i had one of those...but it was way too big for the box i had. So i took it back and got two of these. the box i got for free. I made a box for one 10 but dementions aren't so great so i will have to see about about making another one. Ill have to look into making a slotted box.

the P310 is a damn strong sub. if you went and got 8ohm subs you would be in great shape. Can you not make that happen for some reason?

well i used to work at best buy when i bought these subs and the amp. My cousin works there now so i could go ahead sell these two and just buy one P3 like u said...but i would have to get another box also. I don know. I guess i will stick with this for now until i can find something new to get. Low on money and stereo is somethign i dont want to spend money on anymore, rather spend it on the motor, but i will see. I forgot how much the P3 was. Not too much. Less than these two combined. i believe i paid 60 something for each one. The amp was around 240 something i think.

ah yes young jedi, i just glanced over at the box of the subs sitting in my room...and looky look. They are the P210S8s. LOL. So yeah i think they are the single voice coil 8ohm subs. I don't remember if they were dual or not when i wired them so im guessing from what it says on there website that these are the single voice coils. Although It says these subs are 200 watts RMS and 400 peak. Do you think it would be wise to run them at 4 ohms bridged for 600 watts RMS for the two?

As they are 8ohm subs...yoo may connect them in parallel, which means + to + and - to - to get a load of 4ohms...then bridge the amp, +L and -R if I remember correctly, turn your gain to about 3/4 and start pounding my friend...

if you need help http://www.rockfordfosgate.com....y=14

that should help...
