suggestions on internal work
well im planning to run a stage 1 turbo maybe run it at low psi (7-9), but i wana make sure that nothin in the engine blows under the pressure. i know its ok to run on stock internals, but i jus wana be safe. But my main question is what all would i have to change internally? any help would be nice thanks in advance

JE pistons 9.1:1 seem to b popular, eagle rods. from wut ive read thats good to around 10-12 psi. different head gasket and like vtec_joe said, studs n headbolts. u dont want compression to be too low cuz u wont make the HP. lower compression is for reliability not speed. higher compression will get u more HP but w/ higher compression u cant run as much boost
You really don't have to get lower compression pistons, you can make better gains with higher compression pistons, or just stay stock and save your money for something else. Its all about how well you tune it. Look around in the Forced induction section and see what they say. Here are some good articles:
