6th Gen Accord ?
Hey guys, I've been noticing that every once in a while when I start my car it bucks in first gear. It does it when it's cold or warmer out, my rpms jump up a bit, like to 1.5-2k...however it stops after a while. The car only has 36k miles on and I take care of the oil and what not, I was jw whether this is normal or not..thanks

exactly....since the engine block isnt at operating temperature, the tolerances on the metals are different, and more damage can be done. to expediate the warm up process, the ECU will automatically keep the revs higher in an effort to heat the engine up faster.
