Default new shift ****: what do I do with this extra stuff?

I got this shift **** a couple minutes ago from jhpusa. What do I do with all this extra stuff they gave me?

are you talking about the nut that came with it?..if so then your supposed to put the nut in first and then thread in the ****...its supposed to make it sit correct. cuz ifyou just thread in the **** all the way down then it prolly wont sit flush.

Yeah I'm talking about that... but what about the zip tie and the shift boot thing...

zip tie is to probably to keep the shift boot standing up if you wanted it to.

That's a lock nut. You'll want to use it to keep people from jacking your **** or from it going loose

the plastic round piece goes in the top of the shift boot the round tube goes inside of it and the zip tie hols it up. you'll need to take out your center console to do it right.
