i have a problem with my crx si...it wont strat unless i spray carb cleaner ... and when it does start it has lots of problem its misfire and dies if i give it gas and wont rive pass 3000 rpm when i give it full throttle ........does any one know wats wrong with my car? need help wanna get back on the road again

 

Did it just start doing this randomly? Like it ran fine, then one day you went to go start it up and it does this?

 

You'll have to figure out whether is a fuel delivery problem, or maybe yourt timing/spark.
Thats a good place to start.

 

its been doing it ever since i got the car i thought it was my timing but it wasnt , and i change my fuel filter and fuel pump still the same

 

i was having a similar problem with a crx i bought for $500, i bought a new distributor but i am having a problem still, im getting a spark but no fuel, my uncle is going to check the fuel pressure and maybe change the fuel filter, but i dont want to do this if its not going to work, it starts up but as soon as i let my foot off the gas it just dies, any suggestions?

 

sounds like the same problem but its when i step on the gas my car dies ...good luck

I'd had the same problem, try checking the main relay under the driver side dash. it might be going bad, even though it starts a bit then dies. good luck

 

still wont start .....i think its cuz i am not getting any fuel from the tank to the motor....the pumps sound like its working but no fuel come out of the injector? wat is my problem .....come guy need help

It has to be the Main Fuel Relay!
