Default Bleeding the Clutch...

I need a link on how to bleed the clutch and the location of the slave cylinder. I dont have a Haynes or anything for this car and now I dont have trasnportation to go get one. I tried searching but Its down right now and I need a quick answer, I have to work at 4.

Basically there is no pressure from the clutch and the car won't go into gear. I checked the clutch fluid resivoir and it was dry. I just need it drivable before I can diagnose it further and start replacing stuff.

Also there car is a 94 CX hatch with a mini-me motor and an ex tranny if that helps.

get in front of your car.

right nex to the header, where the tranny meets the block theres going to be the slave cylinder.

theres a bleeder on the end, exactly like the bleeder for the brake system.

thats where you would bleed it from.

sounds like you have a leak in the system tho. is there fluid leaking by the clutch pedal? you may have to replace the clutch master cylinder.

I havent check for fluid by the clutch pedal but the tranny is kinda covered in oil or transmission fluid or possibly the brake fluid. I know there is a leak somewhere b/c I cant imagine it all just dissapearing. Ill go track down the the slave and try bleeding it and see where it gets me.

You could put a box end on it, just put it on before the hose and be careful.

Yeah i had this same problem it was my clutch master cylinder in my old eg hatch. The floor under the carpet was covered in fluid. I just had to replace that and bleed the system. Careful with those brake line nuts, they tend to be really tight and looks like they would strip very easy.
