Default Normal oil pressure

My oil is at the normal level for my H22 and my oil pressure gauge has been reading about 65psi at 3k rpm and about 15psi at 700rpm someone told me that was a bit low so what's normal?

I just put a H22A into my 95 Si. Those readings are pretty close to my car. I say your ok.

Also, I get to 75ish at WOT

Spec is:

No less than 7psi @ Idle
No less than 50psi @ 3000rpm

Those are minimum numbers... as in, you want to see more than 50psi @ 3k to be on the safe side.

u can try a smaller oil filter for a higher oil pressure. i think.

or, you can add like 3-4 more quarts of oil just kidding

try the smaller oil filter. it will not filter as well, but it will keep pressure up.

it is the minimum allowable oil pressure, per the service manual.

keep everything properly lubricated, could be the difference between vtec and limp mode...no performance gains, just engine reliability/health

a smaller filter will only increase pressure before the filter. if you want higher pressure you can shim the pump spring
