Default NOS and h22's

just wondering if anyone with EXPERIENCE can help me out here...

i the type of guy that likes experimenting things, to a certain extent....ive done the trubo...loved it but right now buget wise i cant do it on my lude...

i was thinking about doing NOS, now not to be pressing the button at everyconer...but once in a while...on the high way or what ever....

i wanted to know how strong the H22 is on the NOS side..everything is stock on my car ( i have I/H/E but i dont consider as a mod)

no internal mods whats so ever...i have a VAFC also...

thats pretty much it...i was thinking about going with a little 75 shot...but i have no idea if i should do the wet or dry (i think wet is when its mixed trought the gas and dry its just through the intake? not sure)
whats the safest way of going about this...or should i just forget about it...cuz there is a good chance of me blowing it?
thanks

H22s dont really like juice or boost that much in stock form..

If you run juice - make sure you do your research and do it RIGHT.. 75 shot or LESS.

i know so many people post threads thinking what can i do and stay reliable stock, i totally understand that stock and boot/juice/blow dont go together super well...
trust me ive been down that road and dont want to go turbo or blow until i have some good $ to back me up..thats why i was thinking about a little juicing...a little shot here and there...just to get her out of the hole that much quicker...
whats the lowest shot level you can go with it being worthless>? 50 shot?

I did then tore it apart and all the pistons rings ect were in great shape still.

As for size, I ran a NX 35 shot on a stock motar and dynoed 42 whp and 65 tq. I consider that a significant increase in power.

Just be sure to research as much as possible and choose the right setup. Also its nitrous, NOS is a brand of nitrous. turn off Fast and the Furious and read.

Eventually with enough juice you are going to run into the same problem every N/A built motor runs into with forced induction. Weak ringlands. Sure you can spray the **** out of your motor and little 35 shot or less, some good tuning, maybe colder step plugs and possibly different ignition system. go crazy and get a 75+ with shitty tuning and watch what happens.

Always remember, Tuning is everything.

I usually agree with NXlude and i'm going to agree with him again. I have run a NX 75 shot on my jdm h22a for 1 1/2 years now...motor runs fine and the power adder is addictive.

oh **** what a good burn with the fast and furious thing, i think i was the first to point out that nos is a company and not the brand as such....guess i wasent thinking too much anyway...i agree with what your saying and i know for a fact that nothing you do to your car to increase power will keep as reliable as stock,

but i wanted more info, the type of info they wont give you when you buy the stuff or whatever...the kind of info only the guys of honda-tech a worthy enough to give
thanks alot

If your doubtful about running a 75 then go DP, slap in a clutch, ignition, and fuel pump and you could have fun for a long time on that setup.....

i've asked this question before and numerous people on here said i could safely spray a 100 shot. The mods i have are clutchmaster stage 3 clutch, dc header, aem cai, exhaust, fuel pump, fuel rail, fpr, colder plugs, msd window switch, and i was going to use a NOS wet fogger kit. have since sold it and am wanting to go with the NOS plate system. how much you think i could run safely? is 100 shot to much?

My buddy had a H22 in a EK 4 door. He hit a 12.9 on a ZEX 75 shot(dry) with slicks. He didn't spray that motor all the time but it saw a decent number of trips down the drag strip and his motor runs great.
I actually have his ZEX kit and am debating on putting it on MY H22. I want a direct port kit though and I haven't found one for the H22 yet.

If you dont have a plate system you may not find one. They only made a few of those kits.

The old 50% rule is a good rule. Average hp of a stock h22 166ish. 75 shot is ok. thats what iam runing now. No prob by the way its a 75 wet barry grant ket. Mods done to my car are I/H/E All MSD with ngk irridiums, Vafc 2 with noooooooo retard. Runs great. Just dont spray all the time, check your plugs and just good gas. Have fun
