Hey i have a 98 civic (d16y8) all stock internals, and im wondering what kind of nos system i could run, without causing damage to my engine...... and aslo whats the diff. between wet and dry, which is better?

Wet is "better." I believe that a wet system refers to an im injected system, while dry is intake injected. Obviously direct port is the best. The system you get is whatever you want. Sorry I can't give you an suggestions.

A kit i was looking at was a 75 shot, dose that mean its capable of 75 and lower, or would i need to get some type of different sprayers or what? I know nothing of nos but id like to learn, because it seems like it could hold off my craving for massive hoarsepower unitl i relaly have enough to turbo.

those simeple kits usually do 55-65-75 shots. Wet is the better of the two but it doesnt reallly matter if the biggest shot u are doign is 75 shot. Wet is more appropriate once you hit 100 shot but by then i'd recommend doing direct port already.
you'll be fine with a dry 75 shot. if you get wet thats even better. Regardless of which one u get, i recommend the bottle heater.

Ricey thats not very nice. Just think of how you'd feel if your 10 second car got shot up by Japanese gang members and the NAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWSSSS tank exploded? Not a very good feeling now is it? Didnt think so.

Before I ran a "Nitrous Oxide System" I would get yourself a spare Y8 so you're not stranded having to take a taxi back with Dom back to your house where your boys are boozing Corona and throwing a huge party *cheer*

dry = nitrous injection only (usually just b4 throttle body)
wet = nitrous and fuel injection (before TB like Zex or after like NOS in the intake manifold)
wet is safer b/c it adds fuel along with the nitrous. one of the main dangers of nitrous is running lean with a lack of fuel.

Like said above, but the ZEX DRY system controls your fuel pressure and automatically raises it so it doesnt lean out, Also the WET systems also are installed into the intake tube like dry systems, Only direct port are in the intake mani and are in each runner as to provide the exact same amout of N2O/fuel mixture to each cylinder. And ofcourse it is the safest.

nitrous still has its problems though, it isnt good for your rings and it is still easy to have it lean out and cause damage, if you go all out it can be "safe" but it isnt good for your engine trust me I know from personal experience, i had a 65 shot and over time i started having problems and i didnt spray on the way to work and ****

if you get dry, id recommend zex. if you get wet or dp get nx.
I used to have a 70shot dry zex on my b18c1 and shaved off 1.2 sec of my et's n2o is great for low end tq but it falls off quickly as you can see in my dyno sheet.
i gained 66whp and 82wtq

I got a NOS dry 50 shot for sale. Had it on my z6 no probs, Just make sure you retard the timeing, and get colder plugs (i didnt big mistake) Let me know.
Also Running any kind of Forced induction is a safe as you make it. If you are a Moran and think its Cool to spray around town all day, then you will be buying motors, transmissons, and clutchs every week. If you do go Spray Just be smart about. I mean just think about it adding an extra 55,65, or even 75 shot of extra power when your car drivetrain is designed to be at 127, and Now you make that into almost 200, Just use common sense. Just be careful and you will be fine.
