Wanna spray N20 on my GS, how much power can I put through this block with N20?
So I wanna get to the 200WHP mark on 93 octane. I'm gonna run a full NX kit on it. I wanna know if I can spray, say, a 75shot and make the power I want. I dont wanna throw parts at the ground. 100% stock internal 93 GS integra, LS block.
I'm not new to nitrous, had it on other cars, know all about plugs... Although what is a plug that is 1 or 2 heat ranges colder than stock?? Also know about timing retard.... but how can I do that? I would like to run something like an MSD box and have it retard the timing 2 degrees when I spray. They make something like that, relatively cheap?
I dont wanna spend over 1500$ on this setup. I figure:
-1100$ for a complete NX setup with all the do dads/saftey **** I want.
-10$ for some plugs
-300$ for some MSD box to do the timing and nice wires
-100$ for some dyno time to check my shiz.
If you think my numbers are off let me know.
Thats it peeps, can anyone help me out? Thanks.

your pricing sounds decent. it's all about how long you want it to last. i think with a 75-shot you should be good for about 12 months, depending on how often you hit it.
have a nice spray!
have a nice spray!
word em up!
so how about something ot control timing on this bitch???
I'll spray a 50shot if you think the 75 shot will be to much. How much spraying is alot or not alot? a bottle a week alot? a bottle a month alot??????

if i were you i'd say 50-shot. it's a low-compression engine, good, but it's probably pretty old, very bad, and nitrous is a killer for all but the most tuned engines, also bad. i'd say spend a lot on timing control, jetting, and tuning, as well as window switch to turn it off automatically under 3000ish rpm, turn it off at like 6500 (before fuel cut!), and that sort of safety stuff. also go wet kit
. any way you do it, make sure it's tuned and safe safe safe, b/c nitrous is an engine killer. most people don't make it safe for the engine, so they end up poor and sad.

Was planning on a wet kit, window switch, and dyno tuning it. Car has 75K on the motor.
I'm good on the safety for the most part. I'm mainly concerned with what the stock bottom end will be happy with.

if you tune it well it *should* hold a 75-shot, but as you know, you don't have to run lean for long on nitrous to burn up a piston. wet kit should help with that a lot, and you definitely want to pick up a powerful fuel pump for induction, be it chemical or forced.

if you're using a wet kit, maybe, depends on how often you spray. i would advize more tuning than is possible w/ stock FPR. really, i mean, it only costs <$100 to get a B&M conversion for Honda FPR's w/ fuel pressure gauge. that's chump change compared to what it costs to put together a reliable nitrous engine.

So do you think I need to do some fuel system upgrades as well? Why would I need a FPR?? I figured if anything a drop in fuel pump.
definitely a drop-in fuel pump, and no need for an FPR if you're going wet b/c the wet systems direct fuel around the injectors, in w/ the nitrous, so your fuel injectors/fuel rail doesn't see hardly any extra fuel. as for dry kit, why bother? don't blow yourself up.
make a new thread, talk to the boost guys. stock will always be fine for me b/c my car is headed for small power goals and a very long life.
