hey man, yea thats the bracket that holds ur usdm peice in the back. Theres actually a bracket for the jdm piece. I forget what i did, but it didn't stay down all that good. I ordered mine from jhpusa and it states right on the site that it comes w/ the bracket. Altho when i received it w/ out the bracket they told me tough luck.

Whered you get it from ?

My friend removed it, its a bit tedious though. You actually will have to remove your driver seat to allow a bit more slack of the carpet. Then you can unbolt and pull the metal bracket out.

Didn't your arm rest come with a new bracket? Mine did! I would leave the bracket because it holds the emergency brake lines in place, but thats just my opinion.

*sigh* It's sad that this is the response that most JDM sites have taken up now. It's so hard to find a quality JDM supplier that really wants to take care of its customers. It seems that jdmshit.com is the last one left.

Shame really, and JHPUSA.com is always so highly recommended...

Really? I drive nothing but manual cars (well most of the time anyway), hate having no armrest. I've gotten too comfortable in my teg!
