89 civic dx w/ 1'st gen b16a using hondata s200.

I've been getting a jumping idle for a little bit now. Checked for vacume leaks too many times to just keep thinking it's a vacume leak.

My dads buddy noticed that my lower radiator hose wasn't getting hot.
I'm using a stock honda del sol thermo. Some smog motors don't open the thermo untill 190 or so according to him.

I didn't have the laptop in the logger because my girlfrind broke it, so I need some feedback in the mean-time.

i don't know a stuck t stat will cause the jumping idle

vacuum leaks
air bubbles in coolant
iacv
fitv

those would cause jumping or hunting idles

 

when i did a swap into a lude it hunted untill the tstat opened up and got coolant through the TB....soon as it opened up the idle went right to 750rpm

 

Does anyone know at what temp the thermo should open?? It's a stock honda del sol thermostat?
