I have a 1990 civic with a home made turbo kit ( basic t-25 2.5 inch exhaust etc.....) at exotic motorsports. I was blown away by what it made. On 8-9psi I dynoed 211hp and 163tq. then I added 116 race fuel and upped the boost to 26 psi and dynoed 401.6 hp and 278tq. HOLY ISH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also what do you have for tuning, fueling, and bottom end???

The reason we don't believe you is because it has stock internals and you ran 26 psi on it??? That does not seem feasible at all. Plus the fact that you do not have any proof that you did it.

Also even if you did make that kind of power you would never be able to run it like that on the street, so what does it matter?

you're right. nobody believes you. there is NO WAY a t-25 could push 26psi to produce 400hp. you said BASIC so i'm guessing you went FI without any internals? 26psi will break your car so bad if you didnt. but you already know that. post your setup with your dyno...

I believe the 211 HP part, as I've witnessed that before,

I just don't see how you could hit 26 PSI with that turbo. I would believe that your internals could withstand it for one run, but not any more, if you were lucky.

I also don't get how I could be jealous as we all know that we can crank up turbos all day and make mad power, but we blow engines because of it. I'm not jealous of people who blow engines.

im in noooo way jealous at all, and i highly expect that no one eles is either....

the thing is is that 400hp on a t25 is pretty much impossible. I have no doubt in my mind that YOU THINK you made that much power. I just think that someone is lying to you or that dyno is f'd. Simple logic...

Not that your being untruthful, it's just a little past our heads how a factory internal engine running that turbo setup could achieve 401 whp and 278 ft. lbs on race gas alone... nothing else... It's not fair to keep our inquiring minds waiting without some sort of plausible truth

 

Sure man and my dick is 17 inches long. There is no way possible for you to run 26 psi on stock internals (Maybee 16 psi) But the stock cylinder sleeves start to shake around 15 psi. So get a dyno sheet or get a life

Noone believes you because your wrong. A T25 is never going to be able to make 400hp, its not happening, end of discussion.
A stock D series block is never going to be able to take 26psi and survive, from what ive read the rods are only good for 200hp.

211/163 doesnt seem like typical #s from a turbo D, def not one with a T25.

 

2nd, a t25 aint going to make over 200whp on 8psi
