Default Ebrake not stopping hard enough?

I have toyo proxes fz4s on my car. I'm worried that there may be something wrong with the ebrake cause if i pull it up while moving, it'lll just slowly come to a stop, rather than chirping the rear tires. Is that a problem or is this normal with sticky tires?

Remove your center console and tighten the cables, they get stretched out over time, kind of like a girls...............

I better check mine out too. I did check the ebrake tension and adjusted it so it comes up all the way at 6-9 clicks. But I tested it while I was driving around 20mph and it very slowly slowed the car down.

Not that relevent, but I live out here in the desert in Arizona, one night I'm going about 55 and its like pitch black save for my headlights. Freaken Javelina comes running out and I start to slow down to like 45, The bastard waits till I get to him, then walks into my lane and stops. I now what a deer in headlights mean. As soon as my headlights fell on him he froze. I stomped the brakes, the abs kicked in, you could hear the random chirps the tires were making. Split second later I realised I wouldnt stop in time so I yanked the E-brake, The back tires screamed like a bitch and I slid to a nice jarring stop. Very good E-brakes :D
