hey guys, my ebrake feels weird out of no where, likes its very sloppy and loose until i pull the ebrake more than half way up, its works and all but why does it feel like this? its really bothering me

 

check to see if the little vinyl flap that covers the hole under the ebrake handle is catching on the teeth of the handle's gear....

you should also pull your center console out and inspect the cables at the ebrake as well

 

Jack that ***** up and check out the return spring on your calipers. If they're sound, maybe you just need to adjust your cables underneath the center console.

 

well it was working fine the night before, then following day i go out and noticed it was sloppy, im not sure if it could be becuz its winter and its been freezing out but i'll take a look at it. What exactly am i looking for on the return spring? what do i check?

 

Cable probably went out check it under center console bro.

 

man it soo cold, if it went out would my ebrake still be able to work?

 

try tightening it from the under the armrest
