Default Not low enough????

i know this should be in the suspension forum but i know i would get better and quicker responses in here...i have a 95 coupe and i just installed some progress springs to day (used) and i have heard stories how they tuck and all...my friend has even told me that they tucked on his car...i was just sitting here and i was remembering...do i need to take the dust cover off and cut the bump stop? or is that just with coil overs? cause as soon as i dropped the car back down i still have gaps on my car...(rolling on SI's)i have never used just springs before just coil overs...so i dont know wat the deal is....please give me some info...TIA

I almost always take the dust cover off when i install springs, although you dont have too. As for the bump stop, it should be fine as is. The drop depends on what type and style springs you have...also you should allow some time for the springs to settle.

Give the springs time to settle then. Im guessing you didnt remove the dust cover or the bump stops?

Give em a couple of weeks to settle then. If its still now low enough..i would suggest getting a custom setup to suit your needs.

Why not pull them off and follow the instructions?

BTW >> I've always heard Eibach Sportlines are close to no gaps / tucking - stiff. Picked up a used set for my EK already mounted to OEM shocks and had 2 finger gaps all around. Comfort like stock with better handling. Still nothing like the Omni's I'm rocking now

Don't worry about it if you are putting the coilovers on, then you can do whatever you want on height if they were on another car first I figure that them settling and lowering would not happen.

You don't need to take the dust cover off or cut the bump stop, that is only with coilovers. I haven't read all the posts, so sorry for repeating an answer.

most sport springs won't make the car "tuck" usually the race springs are what would get you near that....
