IRRATIC IDLE PROBLEM ON GSR JRSC
I HAVE A 95 HONDA DEL SOL Si WITH A GSR SWAP, JACKSON SUPER CHARGER, APEXi VAFC, AND JR BOOST TIMING CONTROLER.
WHEN THE CAR WARMS UP THE IDLE PULSES FROM 1000-3000 CONSTANTLY! THE ONLY CODE THAT HAS EVER COME UP IS CODE 1 : HEATED O2 SENSOR.
I HAVE REPLACED THE O2 SENSOR
TESTED THE OHMS OF THE IACV=12.2OHMS.
TOOK THE IACV OFF AND CLEANED IT AND RETESTED, SAME RESULT.
REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY/TPS SENSOR IN HOPES THAT IT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM...... BUT NO LUCK.
I HAVE LOOKED FOR A VACUUM LEAKS AND I CANNOT FIND ANY.
I HAVE EXAUSTED MY BRAIN AND ALL OF MY FRIENDS KNOWLEDGE.
DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I have the same IDENTICAL problem. I also have a JRSC. I think youre getting code 10 because im getting the same code. Its a long flash not a short one so its 10 not 1. Anyways it sucks that replacing the IACV sensor didnt fix the problem because thats what i was going to do. Let me know if you figure it out.
no, i have replaced the iacv and the throttle body/tps and did everything on the two threads

What yr GSR motor is it?
If youre sure there are no vacuum leaks, check your fast idle thermo valve underneath the TB (depending on the yr). Unbolt it, and if it isnt screwed in all the way (youll see the design when you take the part off) then do that. You can either replace it, reroute the coolant lines to bypass it altogether, or wrap the summamabitch in something that wont melt to cover the top part to the TB.

I just fixed it. It was the FITV
Go here on how to fix it : https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1163407
Wait you said you already did that. Did you take off the tb and unscrews the bottom to expose the white pvc peice ?

I have tried everything. i evern did what Rory Breaker said to do an I used the supplied bypass plate that came with my edlebrock TB to bypass the fitv. the only leak that i hear is in the exaust on the back side of the cat. and I am still getting code 10.....would that have anything to do with it? I went through the diag. steps to check the intake temp sensor and it test as so: sensor= 1.676 ohms, red/yellow wire to ground= 4.98V, red/yellow wire to other wire on plug for its sensor= 4.98V. what else could cause this problem with the idle and the code 10??
