just installed a turbonetic turbo kit and now the car overheats HELP!!!
like the title sayed. i just installed a turbometic turbo kit on my EG with b18c gsr swap every thing went smooth and i have a fluidine alminum radiator before the turbo install. here's the story i have fluidine radiator with stock fan no overheat problems at all and after the turbo install i have the fluidine radiator with a front mount push perma-cool 12" radiator fan and now if i am stuck in traffic my temp start to go up little by little till it reach close to the red spot and before it reach i turn the car off. and i am 100% sure my front mount fan is working properly. does this happen to any one else need help!
with overheating problems its important to know if it does it crusiing on the highway etc.
btw id check to see if the fan is pulling the air the right way, if its wired to suck air out of engine bay throught the fron of the car, when u drive on the road and cruise the fan and the natural airflow will fight and ur temperature will rise really fast and never go down till u park.

are you going off of your stock temp gauge? do you have an aftermarket temp gauge hooked up? also are your fans wired up like stock, or do you have it hooked up to a switch so you can turn it off and on when you want? You might wanna think about running a switch or something so that you can turn your fan on when you want. Or maybe you can set it up so your fan are always on.

isn't stock fan wiring setup to pull? that's how my stock gsr is.. i mean the fan is INSIDE the engine bay PULLING air...

dude, you really suck if you can't figure out how the fan is working ....
here is some help: the air comes from the front, passes through the radiator, and goes towards the engine bay ... when you stop, no air is passing, so no cooling is produced. Therefore you have a fan to make air movement in the same direction ... go and check what's going on
