questions about turboing stock motor
im new to turbos.i have a 97 dx hatchback, and ive been lookin into doing more than a cold air intake. i've been thinkin about turboing the 36,000 mile motor because ive heard about people gettin quite a bit of problems with swapping motors into there car.
my car now has prolly around 100hp. ive been lookin into this 1 month used turbo kit for sale for 2000, and the guy made 185whp@7psi on his stock motor with just the kit.
my questions are, is if i buy the kit, do i need to buy cam **** or internals to up the psi? what all would i need to actually get up there a bit on the stock motor?
i think for 2000, gettin up to 185 is better than buying a b16 swap that is more with less power and everything, what do u guys think about that? can u give me some pros n cons?
thx in advance
