Default idle problems

I have my idle set at about 1200 rpm's but the problem is that when I start the car everything is fine but then when the car warms up when Im driving and I come to a stop and the car goes to idle it almost dies and the idle stays at about 500 rpm's and just feels like the car is going to die

I had the same problem too,and somebody told me that could be the throttlebody ,cause u have never cleaned it.So i cleaned it myself, using spray and sandpaper, polished, and now my idle is 1,500 rpm when the engine is warm, what should i do? I double checked everything,it seems ok.Still 1,5000 rpm.
I have an ek3,d15z6.A friend of mine told me that the idle screw shoould never been touched, true? My throttlebody was black inside on the walls before and after the butterfly,so i cleaned and polished and now the idle stay at 1,500 ,engine warm.what could be?

I had a problem kinda like this with my gsr swap. I let it warm up and took the intake pipe off and there was a little hole in the throttle body I put my finger over it and the idle was perfect. I took my ficv off and apart and tightend the plastic cap inside super tight and put it back on and vuala it wroked. Its underneth the throttle body. You have to take three coolant hoses off and three screws and its out. Here is the bomb *** forum you need.

I have the same problem, but it turns out my problem is electrical, the wire that connects to my map sensor harness seems to be the problem. I might have to get it replaced.

I don't have A FITV on my engine,d15z6,i just cleaned the throttlebody using sandstorm and spray, then polished. My idle stays now at 1,5 k rpm when engine is worm.I checked the air (map) sensor and it's cleaned ,ok.The other sensor i cannot check it cause it has no screws.I don't know what it could be the problem.

You probably opened up a clogged vent somewhere. If you polished it, maybe there's air getting through the throttle plate after you polished it which would cause higher rpm.

Also, make sure that all electrical connections have been dried very well prior to reinstallation ( it's too late now since it has to be done before powering the electronics).
