PLX M-300 wideband display dim???

Default PLX M-300 wideband display dim???

i just installed my plx m-300... and the display is washed out anytime in the daytime, period... it is visible at nighttime and looks great, but i do most of my driving during the day. anyone else have this problem as well??? mine's got the red display. it just isnt bright, i thought the plx was supposed to be bright as all hell??

I have the same problem. If there is any amount of light the red gets washed out.

are you talking about the seperate gauge pod you can buy for it? or just the display on the black box?

I just got the m250 with the seperate gauge with the narrowband leds... hope that thing is bright enough

yeah I can't see mine too well during the daylight when thesun is like directly on it. If you put a little visor on it it'll be fine. When i need to look at it when i can't see it during the day i just put my hand over it and I can see it just fine.

i put mine right in the middle of my cluster on top of my steering column...i can usually see it fine unless the sun is right on it..and then i can barely see where i am going so i am not really conserned about it lol

mine's on my dash, and i made a little visor, but if there's any light in the car u ca hardly se it, if the sun'd behind me forget it. im talkin about on the main unit, not the seperate guage display.this really bugs me, i guess ill hafta tune it at night 1st.

I put mine on my cup holder thing. Never gets washed out, but you have to look down to see it.
