Hey guys, I'm posting this concern for a friend of mine. He has a 93 hatch dx. He just got it and is planning a b16 motor/tranny/ecu/lsd swap. It is a full motor/tranny swap. His question is this...what additional parts will he need to do this swap? What could be some problems with swapping a b16 into a d16? Thanks for any help guys...he's new to this, and needs some answers before doing anything.

 

Its pretty straight forward, if you say its a COMPLETE swap then there shouldnt be any parts he should need. I mean hes gonna need mounts-axles-shift linkage and hes gonna need to wire in vtec. But if he got the interior harness as well its just plug and playand if the swap is complete then he already has all that. Shouldnt take more than a couple hours to do it

 

****, I forgot to mention the whole reason I made this post. He's going from auto to 5-speed. I'm guessing he will need shift linkage, the shifter itself, the clutch, clutch pedal...anything else?
