Picking up a B16 and tranny question.
I just want to know if 2-3 normal built people can pick up a B16 longblock and tranny? The reason I ask this is, I want to get the swap from password jdm, my local shop wants more . So when they drop it off I want to know if me an 2 other people can put it in my truck and haul it there. I can probably take off the tranny if its too heavy.

I think your going to need minium of 3 people to lift the complete swap. I think the B16 weights around 400 lbs, Me and my 2 brothers lifted a complete gsr swap a couple of months ago and boy was it heavy! Since I assume your planning on putting it on the truck, IMHO i would try to get at least 4 guys since its a good height where you have to lift it onto the truck.

If you 3 aren't women you can lift it no problem. Seriously though, if 3 people can't get a swap up, you need to hit the gym. My roomate can carry a longblock by himself (I've made him do it before) and I can carry a tranny myself easily.
EDIT: The worst part is that it's unbalanced and you have to carry it up agianst yourself.

Bleh, he's a 240lb monster. Last time we maxed out at the gym he benched 365lbs!
P.S. I'm the prettiest.

Me and 3 other buddies picked up and comple jdm b16 swap and loaded it onto a truck everything at once without even thinking about it twice. Get the truck as close as you can!!!
