Port matching manifold

Sup fellows, just wondering is it better to have your manifold port matched at just the opening or throughout the entire runners?

Go as far into the runners as you can

On a stock head porting the runner isnt goin to do much.

so if the head was ported by portflow, does he have to port match the manifold also?
