Default porting p72 head, can they port it to optimize the skunk2 manifold?

I am going to port a spare p72 head and want to use a skunk2 manifold. BUT after researching some other threads they said that since the pr3 based threads are a different port (high port/low port, forgot which one, but they stated that the p72 heads are the opposite) and the skunk manifold is basically a copy of a itr.

So my question is when I get the head ported would they (portflow/rlz/Alaniz/JG, not sure which one yet) be able to port the head to use the skunk manifold to its fullest potential? Would they need to modify the manifold as well or just the head?

This is the only thing holding me back from using the gsr (which I like 10 times better than the B16 head I am currently using). I was going to get the stock manifold ported by dh-racing but have been hearing some not so good things about that shop. Does anyone know if alaniz jg portflow or RLZ can do a full port of the stock gsr maniold? (cutting it in half and fully porting the runners and plenum)

Thanks

the thing about high port low port is all about preferrence as for utuilizing a gsr with a skunk 2 manifold to its fullest thats not a problem but it depends on you set up in general cams bore compression purpose all dictate what manifold is best .

well I am going to run some sort of cams (most likely spoon or ITR), this car will be a daily driver with over bore jdm b16 pistons (maybe CTR's), ported head and all the bolt ons: I/H/E, JG throttle body 65mm (already have it so that is why). My goal is 185-200whp. Which manifold is recommended?

id recomened not using ctr pistons there are much better choices out there try the p73's those are pretty bomb and there not gonna drain your wallet . as for the manifold skunk to will work fine ive done tons of set ups like that and everyone is ussually happy with there end result.if you need pistons give me a call ive got a couple of sets in my shop i use those alot . i cant really give you a price online cause i ussually stock those for my build ups . but i noticed your really doing your research so im more than willing to try to help you out...
