Default 20 mile itch.

Hey sorry but just another question for my friend. He has a civic ex with a b16A SIR II motor obd2 motor. he has the right ecu and everything looks wired righ but when he drives about 20 miles the motor spazzes out. the RPM and SPEEDO gauges start to twitch and jump along with the motor. then the motor just bogs out when you try to accelerate. what the hell is up with this. I was thinking it may be related to his ecu running closed loop/open loop and one of his sensors being bad. i am probably totaly wrong so i need your help. our local shop cant figure it out at all. He is running a VAFC and stock ecu. Any enlightenment would be great. he cant really afford to spend anymore mone fixing problems that mechanics around here "think" are worng. Thanks again guys.

Has the ECU gotten wet recently? The same thing happened to my friend's integra when the ECU got wet from a big water leak.
