Default Weight reduction...

My friend and I gutted his civic ex coupe to ~2100lbs. What are some of the gutted DA weight on here. I am planning to start gutting mine and just want to get a appx. weight number i will be able to get to.
This car is not a daily driver so i guess i will be taking out the speakers and everything else that is not needed.

Dude that first thing to do is get your fat a$$ on a treadmill , you could even try a weightloss plan such as jenny craig, works for some , not sure about you , you sound pretty f$^%king heavy 2100lbs? if I were you I would lay off of the ding dongs dip$hit. Oh and just in case you are talking about getting weight off of your car I reccomend losing that pesky engine , those things gotta weigh like 400 lbs when fully assembled and then theres that heavy tranny , man if I were you I would be looking into a briggs they normally weigh 5lbs or less and you can mount one in the seat beside you, run you a belt to the front wheels and there you go.

if i could stab people over the internet you would be the first. thanks for wasting your time with your retarted comment, i weight less then you first of all you computer bum. next you cant read i clearly said the car weights 2100lbs not me. you should think about consuming a whole bottle of sleeping pills. you are a waste of space. thanks

i repeat.
this car is NOT a daily driver. it will be used for 1/4 mile and road racing. therefore i do not need speakers or anything like that. thanks for all your useful comments

to lickmynuts...being a retard must suck

daily driver or not.. taking out the speakers and panels that weigh a total of maybe 5 pounds isnt really worth it... and btw if ur car really wasnt a "daily driver" and ur a real racer then ud know how to do some real weight reduction.... its common sense man

I didnot ask what i should do to reduce the weight. I asked appx numbers of other people that have done weight reduction. I have experience in weight reduction since I helped reduce the weight in a neon and a honda.

here is a pics of the neon:

a way to get a ton more hp out of your car. we cut the power steering belt on my friends teg. it's a little bit of a pain, cuz it's kinda hard when parking, but you could definitely tell the difference in hp from before. cut it. it's worth it, take everything off but the one belt to work the alternator.

i remeber in import tuner they did an article on this and i dont remeber the car but they dropped a little over 300 lbs. that was some extreme gutting though i.e. cutting 2 of the sections of the firewall and widshield washer fluid resevoir. i dont know how serious you are about it but i think that would be a good starting poin for maximun to remove( and still being somewhat safe).

yeah well if your mtoro is out, or since your doing all this work, under the hood you could take out a/c, p/s, abs if you have it, cruise control if you have it and little **** that dont matter much like a small inlien filter instead of the stock fuel filter set up. there are many things you could do, but im sure you know that.
