Well i got my hands on my project da integra. the white paint is almost chalk like and very ugly and i am hoping to do somethign aobut it. I guess i could paint it flat black but its played out. I have a compressor and access to a paint gun. Any suggestions on a color that will look pretty good without clear coat? thanks, i kinda want to do wasabi green but thats just me.

 

It is because it is a laquer paint. Take it to a detail shop and have them buff it out. I work at a detail shop and see this all the time. Once you get them to buff it out, you can easily keep it up by hand.

 

um camo???...lol, i opted for a satin black til i decide on the color and get my car painted<<<<BTW im doing it all my self

 

this teg is my project car so i am hoping to do everything myself. I have a semi experienced painter who will help me out. i just want a nice flat color, i dont want to do satin or flat black is because there is a da 2 houses down that is flatbalck.

i have no clue, my guess would be a hardware store or a hunting place

 

what i was thinking was that i should getting like cut outs and putting them down on the car and spraying it in one green shade and then another for the whole car

 

why not redo the white?, just paint the mirrors, side skirts, and molding it will look good

 

i dont really want to do white
