Default help me can't PASS Emission test

I have a 1990 accord 2-door with 109k miles on it, and i'm trying to pass emissions, but my engine is gay. how do i get low hydrocarbons and carbon Monoxide levels?

Your engine may be running too rich. I have emissions check in Ohio; I ran my car with some cleaner gas and that helped.

You can also ask for an idle test. The test sometimes misses in those.

clean your throttle body, get new air filter. Have them do the test after your car is already warmed up and run a fuel system cleaner.

Not only the tings above but also change your oil plugs posible wires & dis. cap. We do all these changes in Canada before E Test. Didn't change my wire's and it cost me $100.00 more for dino test only for me to tell them I never changed the wire's still charged for the dyno that could find nothing wrong

Do they still have that rule where u can spend $500+ to fix and theyll consider it good enough? ..

****, in NJ they dont give 2 *****, they fail and keep on failing til they can re-test the car consistently and it passes.

change oil plugs PCV valve air filter and maybe if you are feeling unlucky o2 sensor. my car is at 128K now and it passes emmission easliy
