Pulsating Brakes
I'm getting ready to swap the motor on my 97 Civic, and I want to get this brake problem fixed first. Whenever I decelerate from any kind of decent speed (60+) My brakes kind of pulsate or vibrate as I apply pressure. The car stops okay and it doesn't pull at all. I was wondering if my rotors are probobly warped? I replaced the brakes with new OEM pads and rotors about 30K miles ago and everything has been fine up until about 2 months ago when it started. I did use the car for work a lot (I'm a sales rep for Pepsi) and my drive home was about 30-45 min. where I would frequently drive at 100-120 MPH. I was wondering if you guys do think it is the rotors, what kind of aftermarket pads and rotors would you recommend? The Civic is a DX by the way. Thanks.
yea it sounds like it is the rotors do you ever rember slaming on the brakes hard or stoping fast alot? that will do it even if they are new. and also did you break in the break pads when you got them?

OEM pads and rotors suck. They warp when you look at them funny. Get Brembo blanks, and PBR/Axxis Ultimate pads. Check out ImportRP in the sponsor section for a good deal. More than you'll ever need on a street car.
