25-30psi is overkill

16psi if your in an enclosed area with no wind.

only time you need 25-30psi is if you're outside in a field with wind.

we mig weld pretty much every day, and indoors, in the garage, we just run it between 10 and 15 psi.

What kind of CFM would that be roughly equivalent to?

PSI is pressure, CFM is flow rate

You will have pressure in your bottle....read on one guage. the other guage will show FLOW.

probably 15-30cfm will be fine, depending on speed of travel, wind, etc.
