Putting vacuum lines into your car for a Boost controller
Currently my boost controller is under my hood for quite some time. But now I want to put it in my car, but I'm afraid that running vacuum lines that long will make it less effective. Anyone ever try this?
Up you go. Also, Did you have to drill holes to run the lines through? If so, please tell me/post pics of where you sent the lines
I don't know the exact layout of the teg chassis, but with my civic I found one small hole and one larger hole(covered with black plastic plugs) on the driverside firewall. There is a fuzzy soft material that you must breakthrough(with a screwdriver) to get to the other side and then you can route the line in back of the dash or wherever up to the controller. I don't know if you have tried this yet or have anything else going into those holes, but the larger hole should work perfectly. What controller do you have anyway? A Turboxs?
I have a turbonetics. Today, I just drilled two holes, right on top of the BIG hole with black rubber on the driver side.
I ran the vacuum lines through, but haven't ocnnected the boost controller yet.
