What do you want, a ******* pat on the back? Good job with having money and blowing it on your car. That's what we do here.

Ah...I didn't get that from your first post because I didn't know what engine you were playing with.

At 28-30 psi with the right cam setup and a ported head I'm sure you can hit 450 at the wheels. Boost lag is going to be killer, though.

Good luck.

setup plz.... and you should know better than to trust OBX parts.... i mean you are looking for a 500whpish car.... you sound like you need a lot more research... or it could just be your poorly worded post

you will need a 3inch plus turbo back exhaust for that kind of power or just open downpipe..... obviously your not ready for that kind of power or probably not ready for boost at all unless you have money to spend on a shop doing everything for you and money to spend when it breaks so all you have to do is drive the car

ok sorry, i have beeb posting updates about my project and the full setup periodically so it hought some would be familiar. (also all details are posted in my garage)

I have done research, thanks

OBX, cheap but from what ive read about their LSD (specifically) it is great! comes with a lifetime warranty too...

Here is th setup for those of you who were wondwering:

B17a1, stock sleeves
Crowler Rods
Arias Pistons @ 8.5:1 CR
Stage 3 clutch
94+ GSR hydro tranny
94+ axles
PYR Racing Head (Stock cams? dunno does the head come with new cams? if not than stock)
Chevy Big Block Valve Springs
Ti Valve Retainers
"O-ringed and sealed for boost"?
Fluidyne Race Radiator

Turbo kit:
Drag T3 Turbo Kit, Tial Wastegate, SSQ BOV, Spearco FMIC, pretty new condition

That help a lil?

Are we talking about full internals here? Such as forged pistons, rods, bored and sleeved, blah, blah, blah? Your parts list mentions nothing of the sort.

I sure hope we are cuz how else you gonna sport 30 psi without having a rod fly through your block?

*EDIT* Damn it i took too long to type. Does OBX really make crate engines? I wouldn't trust it personally. *EDIT*

lol ypu, but the lsd's are supposed to be pretty nice, you have to modify them slightly to put them in but other than that, some guy on here has had it for over a year on his drag car with like 500whp and its still working great...

I'm glad I could provide everyone with a real laugh.......

Just kidding, it's just the way you worded it that it sounded like an "OBX b17", but don't worry about me, I'm cool, maybe a little bit of an idiot, but I'm cool......

if you read the rules, post that have your setup and asking how much whp you will have are not allowed.

but you should prolly hit those numbers with some good tuning, use uberdata.

so what do you guys think will the setup take the load? I heard stock B sleeves can take quite a beating..

I would run 10-15 daily and 25-30 for the target goal whp... whatya think?
