the oil light is bullshit. it does not come on until it see less then 5psi of oil pressure, by that time its too late if your driving. your best bet is to get a oil pressure guage so u can know exactly whats going on in the motor

Is the green plug a bolt in plug with a silver tip coming off of it? If it is right to the left of the oil filter on back of the block, then that is your oil pressure sensor. Where do you have your oil pressure gauge tapped at? Have you pulled your oil pan and checked to pickup to see if its clogged? Or maybe check the pickup gasket to see if its ok?

Since a head gasket has been done... Im placeing my money on the Oil control orphice.

I unfortunately Am having to master the honda oil system due to my rebuilt gsr motor hacing no oil pressure at idle but ok in upper rpms..

The oil control orphice sits on the deck. It Controls major oil flow to the head. Basically It takes a a big oil port and makes it small by a insert called the oil control orphice.

THIS PART IS VERY EAILY LOST during a headjob/engine rebuild. There was a Bulletin put out back when this happened allot back in the day.

If this is gone, You will loose all your presusre there, because its makeing the hole much much much larger than the system was intended to be.

This part is only 5 dollars from acura.

Part number 9. Make sure this is sitting on your deck. should be sitting recesed. Its a Little round insert with threads in the hole that will identify it. Its the only one on the deck.

I wish that was the reason for my problem....But i still cant find mine out after trying all the above and more.

The best thing to do is not run your engine nor drive it. Little to no oil pressure WILL grenade your engine.
