ok. so last time I had the washers to set the xmember lower since I couldnt get the radiator low enough for hood clearance and also was worried about my pulley hittin the radius rod. I didnt feel too comfy with the washers so i decided to redo the whole thing. I went at the rad support this time for clearance. now the xmember sits at tow hook level and the car runs SMOOTH. NO wheelhop. since I had the front end off i went ahead and sprayed the lower part of the bumper flat black and cut out the part of the bumper as to provied air for my cold air intake.
PICS:
new setup with the painted bracket . lol

let the cutting begin!

hmmm, pics aren't showing up for me. Did you see in my how-to thread about how I replaced my crankpulley? I replaced my stock B18C crankpulley with a JDM CTR N1 pulley and now the only way it will hit the radius rod is if I bottom out the suspension 4-5 inches. hehehe
Plus I felt a noticeable increase in the revs right off the bat. I cant wait to install a lightweight flywheel.

You shoulda scratched in Benen on your tow hook and sold it, mad peeps want those. Any ways good job on making the radiator look like a clean install.

Kewl I see the pics finally. Good idea putting it in front of the crossmember. I actually thought about doing that too, but my Fluidyne EG radiator is a little thicker, plus putting it in front would have gotten in the way of my IC.

lol. yea. the top white bracket is holding it up mainly. its pretty thick. the ziptie is thick too. the rad/fan dont weight that much anyways and its not like the hose clamps are gonna unscrew themselves and have the rad fall out the bottom so ill be ok
