Default p72 chip

I have a b18c and im pretty sure its a p72 ecu. I'm planning on upgrading IM, intake, exhaust, Headers, cams+gears, valvetrain, type r tranny, and possibly milling the head for higher compression. Would I be wasting my money getting hondata with just these mods or would just getting it chipped be fine. Also is there any gains from having a p28 vs p72? Would a vafc help on either application or pointless.

Well the P72 chip does have the secondary butterfly for the GSR intake manifold so that would kinda hurt you alittle so for that getting a chipped P28 would be good. As far as the VAFC unless you are gonna get it tuned by a pro. there is no point because all you will do is screw with it and make you car slower.
