Default Bouncy as hell, what do i do?

Hey, I just bought some tein springs and put them on AGX's. This gave my 98 EX Civic a nice ride height but it bounces like crazy. Any ideas as to what is causing my dilema?

bouncy is better than slammin the pavement every time you hit a bump....lol

I got that problem right now...I'd love to have a bouncy suspension..

Change your settings?

or

it could be that your spring rate sucks?

If you don't cut your bumpstops by about an inch, you can run the risk of 'riding' on them, which will cause a bumpy ride. You want a balance between protecting your shocks from bottoming out (no bumpstop) and always having your car sitting on the bumpstops because the car is too low and your bumpstop is too long (not cutting them at all).

What setting are the AGXs on? Full I'm guessing. Try one or two. Not that the adjustment on AGXs make much difference anyway, POSs.

cut a little bit off, but if it's not bothering you, don't worry about it. Definitely don't rip them off completely though. The shock isn't designed to bottom out, that's why bumpstops are there to stop the piston from going all the way down.

Do you think that maybe the spring rates are too high for my car, or do you think that they might be too low? I have already tried all kinds of adjustments on the shocks, i have 4 ways on the front and 8's on the rear and nothin' seems to work all that well.

The AGXs can probably handle around 350 max. If your spring rates are higher than that, then congratulations your springs are under damped.

Either that or you dont have any suspension travel left.
